: |
Starting from 2000 to 2008 the incidence of stroke in low- and middle-income countries exceeded high-income countries (Feigin et al., 2009). In 2013, it was reported that the years of healthy life lost per 100,000 in men and women peaked at the age of more than 80 years and the lowest harm rate was at the age of 10 -14 years for men and 1- 4 in women. There was 27,577.7 years of healthy life lost per 100,000 in men and 27,409.6 per 100,000 in women. In addition, stroke was at the 9th place in the annual years of healthy life lost or around 2145.86 per 100,000 people among Asia countries (Hyndman, 2016).
Environmental factors are hypothesized to be crucial determinants of people’ participation in daily activities.
